How The Program Works:
At Cary Pines, we value the people who make Cary, North Carolina a great place to live and work. Our Income-Based Housing Program offers affordable, renovated apartments homes for households earning 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI).
Designed for individuals, couples, and families at a variety of income levels, provides an incredible opportunity for people to live in our community at an affordable rent. Prospective residents must provide proof of income to qualify for an income-based apartment. Other restrictions may apply and availability is limited.
Documents Required:
1. Completed rental application.
2. Four most recent paystubs or offer letter.
3. Federal Income Taxes filed with the IRS for every household member over 18 years old for the last two years.
Basic Eligibility Requirements:
To qualify for an income-based residency, applicants must:
· Meet the household income limit based on household size
· Provide required income documentation for all adult household members
· Complete an Income Certification prior to lease execution
· Meet standard rental screening criteria
· Comply with household occupancy guidelines
Annual income recertification may be required in accordance with program guidelines.
